Born and raised in Arizona, Matthew Walker grew to love film from an early age. Using his family's video camera he and his friends started making movies about anything and everything. By the time high school had ended Matthew was already an award winning director receiving several accommodations for his student films. Matthew then attended the Film School at Scottsdale Community College where he received an Associates of Applied Sciences in Motion Picture Production. During his college years he was able to continue his filmmaking with more resources at his disposal. The film school opened many opportunities such as allowing him to direct a music video for the band Portugal. The Man (Atlantic Records). Immediately following the completion of Portugal. The Man's music video Matthew was approached to direct two more music videos for local artists Krystle Delgado and Angie Raess. Matthew then took a dive into the waters of narrative filmmaking with the creation of Outside Man, a short film produced in association with the Film School.

 

Matthew now works as a freelance filmmaker with various companies. His own company, Æterna Post Production focuses mainly on post-production services.
